Journal Notes

Used black batting without adhesive. Looks a little frumpy. Back is mostly flannel. It feels nice and looks better than the front. Would have loved to do FMQ in solid blue blocks, but am lacking the necessary skills. What I learned from this project: Square up the quilt, and trim carefully l, or binding will be a mess. Fabrics were chosen specifically to match the baby's room in the photo.
