Journal Notes

My quilt guild president had numerous panel cuts which were donated to her for the guild. She presented a panel challenge to those members who would like to participate. Pick a panel piece, use it to complete a pillow/wall-hanging/small quilt/etc. and bring it back to the next monthly meeting. Those who participated received a raffle ticket. A drawing was held and the winner received a sewing/quilting related prize. We recently had a demonstration on thread painting at a guild meeting so I thought I would give it a try. It was fun and I would try it again. Practice makes more beautiful!
