A little girl at church lit up when I was telling her about my watermelon picnic quilt, so I knew I'd have to make her a variation of it! She made sure to remind me that there are FIVE people in their family who would all need a spot to sit down on it, and extra space for their food 😂 what a sweetie, I just can't resist. I incorporated the watermelons she was admiring into a Double Irish Chain, and added some patriotic pinwheels. Happy 250th Birthday, America!
