Journal Notes

I wanted to make a quilt with the”chain” pattern. Once I got an approx30” square section completed, I decided that it was too busy for an entire quilt. Then I used the fabric and made some flying geese (a favorite block) and some economy blocks ( always wanted to try these). So then I started playing with the design and made a few other blocks… I was limited by the amount of fabric. I love the overall end product! It was very satisfying to build this quilt top with only my imagination and the fabric on hand. (These pics show some of the design process i used.)
