Journal Notes

I made this for my mom several years ago - probably about 25 years- and gave it to my mom. I had wanted to learn to quilt for years and had finally attended a class at church taught by two sweet ladies. My maternal grandmother had been an avid quilter and I always admired her work. So, I pieced this on my machine but hand-quilted - just like Granny always did. When my mom passed away May, 2026, I got the quilt back. It now rests at the foot of my bed.
