Journal Notes

This quilt was made in three days time with no pattern. I had brought over a Christmas gift(pumpkin quilt from previous post). This cute little granddaughter was so sad. That she didn’t have a quilt to cuddle with like grandma. So I went home that night. Started pulling out all the pink and orange fabrics I could find (her favorite colors). I whipped this baby up as fast as I could. When going back to give hazel this quilt. She wouldn’t even let her family see it. She went straight to her room to put it on her bed.
