Journal Notes

Made for my dear friend’s grandson. When his little brother was born he lived the baby quilt I made so much he wanted to keep it. Then he asked my friend if I would make him a goat quilt. He has a pet goat that he takes places on a leash. I found goat fabric online, I loved that it had baby goats nursing, plus it was primarily green which is my favorite color. I used solid gray from my stash on the back, with one horizontal line of the pieces and goat blocks that were left over. I machine quilted it with wavy straight lines done with my walking foot. I used a vintage singer 15-91 sewing machine to do this quilting.
