Journal Notes

This was made to cover the mahjong game so it wouldn’t get dog fur on the mat. I made small yellow rectangles to resemble the tile set we own. The top used fabric from my mom’s stash but I purchased the mahjong pattern fabric for the backing. I didn’t make enough yellow tiles so I ended up with a large green section. I slept in it and decided to add more tiles. I ended up making four new tiles but got the dimensions wrong and they were 1/2” too big. I had too hand sew some green pieces on the four tiles to make them the correct size.
