Next came The Thrifty 30’s-Lone Star; Bonus Challenge-using the Century of Progress quilt as inspiration, make a block that represents progress in your chosen area 1933 to present-Goodyear airship/blimp. The Frugal 40’s-Winding Ways; The Fashionable 50’s-Sawtooth Record; The Swinging 60’s-Six Pointed Star; The Spirited 70’s-Braid block and bonus block-create a block with your name; The Experimental 80’s-Inner City block; The Nostalgic 90’s-TV block; The Technological 2000’s-New York Beauty; The 2010-2020’s: The Modern Quilting Movement-Love and Kisses. UPDATE: completed the name block, auditioning layout of the various sized blocks, filling in some empty space with some orphan pinwheel blocks. Next - deciding on the background/sashing fabric. 03/13/2026 So much fun. Always interesting. Always learning something new. New QF BOM 2026 starts in April 2026.
