Journal Notes

I have long wanted to make a string quilt with my floral fabrics. This quilt used a wide variety of fabrics. Basically, I went through all my floral fabrics and cut one or two strings (1.5” - 2.25”) from each. In addition, I was asked to teach a class for Sew Katie Jean in Lincoln. In order to write up the class supply list and instructions, I made this quilt. The blocks are 11” square. For the back, I added a light blue grunge fabric. The binding was also made from the blue grunge fabric.
