Journal Notes

I made a bunch of nine patch blocks with red squares in the middle. It wasn’t enough for a quilt, so I used some fabric with Bible verses on it to increase the size. I had the verse fabric for quite a while and really didn’t know what I was going to use it for. The quilt kind of emerged as I went along. I think it is my least favorite design of any of the quilts I have ever made. It is super busy and not cohesive, in my opinion. I have posted it here as a reminder that not all quilts turn out as we envision, but they will still serve the purpose of keeping you warm.
