Journal Notes

For my son’s 25th birthday, he said he didn’t want anything. We keep a list of potential gift ideas for each of our children so I looked at it and saw that his favorite colors included green, black and gray. Since he had been using a zoo animal themed quilt that I made him when he was much younger, I decided to make this quilt for him as a surprise. I finished the top in a weekend and gave it to him unfinished as a gift. A good friend of mine offered to quilt it for him so together it was completed in about 5 months.
