Michelle had given me some tshirts to make a tshirt quilt. The shirts were from her time working at an animal rescue. She was also an integral part of the adoption process of one of our dogs. Through a series of mishaps, my husband accidentally took her shirts to a thrift shop at the retirement center where he worked. When I discovered the error, I went right away and tried to retrieve the shirts. Unfortunately, several had already been sold. I found the cotton printed fabric in my stash and found the Scotty dog block pattern on Pinterest. I put everything together and gifted her the quilt with many apologies for the mixup.
