Journal Notes

Although this quilt was bought in 2024, I had not had the opportunity to finish it. Once I moved to Maryland in 2025, I was able to start piecing the precuts from the quilt named Josie - Wild West quilt mystery club. It took me several weeks to finish as I was going slow as I had never done this before. It was a great experience. I enjoyed it thoroughly and looking forward to creating my own quilt now that I’m brave enough to do piecing. It was a lot of fun. I finally finished the quilt in March 2026. I finish the border with polkadots , it was a great match. I have bought a ladder to exhibit my quilt and I put it in the living room. Wow, one of my very first quilts that I did from the mystery club thank you. This was a wonderful experience. Although as a beginner quilter I have completed several other quilts with panels, but this was my first piecing. Updates: Sorry to report, this quilt got damaged in the 4/2026 fire. I will be logging in another mystery quilt soon. I love the mystery puzzle club as they are all precut pieces, with great instructions and beautiful intricate designs. In the future I will be making quilts to donate for charity. This is my new goal, this will increase my experience in creating my own quilts.
