I learned SO MUCH from this project! I designed this tote bag using the techniques that Caryl Bryer Fallert Gentry explains in her free website tutorials (Bryerpatch.com). There is a wealth of information on her website and I am so grateful to her for sharing it free of charge! I had just bought my Grace Q’nique 15R midarm with the 4 foot long hoop frame and I was totally intimidated by it. The panel I made for this tote was my first project on it. I used monopoly invisible thread which was great because my quilting was pretty rough but it is very hard to keep track of where you’ve been because it’s so hard to see and is hard to get the tension right.
