Journal Notes

This is the last of the quilt tops I found in my mother's basement. I found this large piece of fabric with sewing notions on it at a thrift shop. It will be a perfect backing for this quilt to honor her and her many years as an upholstery seamstress and quilter. I'm going to remove one row of quilt blocks, make a border of the cream with spools fabric, then back and bind with the purple notions fabric. .
