Journal Notes

My daughter, a long-time, big fan of all things Harry Potter asked me to make a Harry Potter wall hanging for the baby’s room when she was pregnant. I was, of course, delighted to be asked. It was important to her that the quilt be true to the books and not cartoonish. I worked diligently to get it done in time for the baby shower. I was so pleased that she and her husband loved the quilt and months later were still finding the “easter eggs” I had included in the details of the quilt. I admit that I am very proud of this quilt.
