Journal Notes

This is made from fabric my 92 year old mother picked up in Hawaii. The fabrics were a mix of rayon-like material as well as some kind of polyester fabrics. She chose a bright yellow broadcloth for the sashings as she likes bright colors. The quilt was difficult to sew as the fabrics wouldn’t stay square. It hasn’t been quilted yet as she is deciding what to use as a backing. As of 10/17/2026the quilt has been quilted and the binding was completed by Ladyfoxstitches.
