October 2020, Moda designed and offered a sampler quilt drawing awareness to breast cancer. The design was 30 sampler blocks - one block released each day of October. I became aware of this challenge while visiting the website for Lucky Quilt Company in Pecatonia, IL. As a former resident of IL, I enjoy checking websites of stores I frequented while a resident in the area. I ordered the fabric kit from them and each day I would check for my block pattern online. The border was just a regular binding so I opted to finish with Prairie Points - my first try. Thus it took a little longer than one month. I absolutely loved this challenge and I love the finished quilt. One that I will always cherish
