Shipped to Mom for her 80th birthday in May. USPS lost this quilt — or rather delivered an envelope with my tracking label on it, not the box I shipped. Both Mom and I were heartbroken. My box was delivered approximately 2.5 weeks later with the quilt intact and undamaged. I loved making this quilt and the fabrics I chose. I had a shopping cart filled with the fabric ready to purchase if we hit the month mark and quilt was still nowhere to be found. Fortunately I didn’t have to go that route, but I’m still thinking about making another version using 2.5” squares so it finished slightly smaller.
