Journal Notes

Willow wanted a Southwestern pattern-thought this one would be quick to stitch. All the angles were tricky to get right. Ended up redoing a lot. Lots of swearing. Tried to be precise but was still hard to get pieces to end up the size they should be. Got discouraged and took 2 months off to make a scrappy quilt throw to get my joy back. Originally planned to make queen size but decided it will be a large throw. I love the colors but at this point I’m ready to be done 🤣 Had it long arm quilted with gold thread on front and teal thread on the back. Used some scraps to design the border.
