I picked up a bundle of orphan blocks at a thrift store. When I got them home, I realized I had 11 blocks for the start of a friendship quilt. The block makers had embroidered their names (and some dates) on their blocks. Using feed sacks from my granny’s stash I made the 12th block and completed the quilt during our Covid quarantine era in 2020. This quilt proudly hangs in my guest/sewing room in my home.
