Journal Notes

A long time ago Todd asked for an argyle quilt. I recently came across a pattern that I liked and asked if he would still like one. I asked for his color palette. A picture of what he sent me is included in the photos along with the fabrics chosen. 8/7/25 - finished 42 of block 1 today and sewed and cut strip sets 3,4 and 5. Made 2 of the 30 block 2. 8/10/25 - have 15 of block 2 done today 8/15/25 - Starting to sew rows together. I only make the top and side setting triangles as I go 8/12 - have 25 of block 2 done. All 4 of the corner triangles and 2 of the setting triangles. 8/20 Top half is all sewn together and the bottom half is sewn in rows. Maybe done the top tomorrow. Finished size is 76”x89” 8/26 - dropped off at Janet-Lee’s 9/19- picked up quilt from Janet-Lee today. Quilting pattern is called Celtic Wave. Done in 60 wt thread. I machine sewed the binding and will start the hand sewing of the binding today. 10/13 finished the label yesterday and hand stitched it on today.
