Journal Notes

I needed to do 2 things... 1. Sort my scraps 2. Purge my stash I didn't want anything too involved. The point was to sort and sew. So I found some larger pieces I could cut into 2.5" strips, sewed 2 strips together, and then cut them into 3.5" segments. Then, I sewed as many of the segments together that I had and sewed them into columns. Sewed the columns together and quilted with a serpentine stitch. Done and done. I purposely used mostly my "ugly" fabrics...ones that I just wanted out of my life but couldn't bear to just throw away. This will most likely be our "car quilt". 7.8.26 I added a picture of the back...pieced with yet more ugly fabric. Not real proud of the quilting. I realized too late that I had neglected to engage the dual feed arm before I started. Argh....
