Charity quilt for the CWC. Pieced by me. I had a big enough piece of backing to load this top and CWC#28 together on the frame, side by side. It worked beautifully and saved time, batting and fabric. My first time doing more than one at a time. I used the same color thread for both and was able to work on both with each pass. Separated Cloud Loft polyester batting. Cotton backing. In making the label for this, I found that I could actually get two labels out of one hooping using my large hoop. This will save me time, fabric and stabilizer! I also learned that putting Omni in the bobbin is a bad idea for embroidery. It made the letters a little puckery. I need to start turning under more than 1/4” on the label edges. They’re so narrow that they’re hard to turn under. 1/2” would probably be much better.
