Journal Notes

This started out as a challenge for monthly blocks. I started following along with Julie Cefalo because I liked some of her color choices so I started to duplicate some of her style. Once I was done with the blocks, I realized I didn’t have enough to complete the entire layout. After months of deliberation, I settled on making a tree like Julie had since it’s mainly in Fall colors so I have the central piece cut and all the outside pieces assembled but haven’t appliquéd the center yet. Retreat maybe?
