Journal Notes

I wanted something to cover my little bedside table. I'd made this pattern once before and thought it would work nicely. I haven't sewn down the inner and outer edges of the applique. Not sure if I'm going to. On the first one I did blanket stitching around. I don't enjoy it and not sure I need it ...unless I throw it in the wash, I suppose! Pattern is from The Big Book of Little Quilts
