Journal Notes

For my brother and sister-in-law, who are expecting their first baby. His favorite color is emerald green. Hers is gray. I settled on a log cabin block laid out in the BarnStar arrangement, with a Sawtooth Star border. I keep thinking of cozy mountain cabins while making this, resulting in the quilts name. I'll sneak some hearts into the quilting when I get there.
