Journal Notes

Saw this one on Facebook and needed to use some scraps from the “bird” baby quilt. This one was fun, fast, and different. Started with 4” squares and the center strips are 1.5”. I typically hand sew my binding but this is the first time I did it all by machine. It turned out good and probably stronger for a charity quilt. I was told yesterday that this will either be donated as a baby quilt or “wheelchair” quilt. I used isacord rainbow thread and fancy patterns from the sewing machine for the quilting.
