Journal Notes

I sorted this project at mom’s and it came together pretty quickly. I kind of had to pice this one together, nothing came as a matched kit. I had the charm pack, used a charm pack of solids that was natural, outdoorsy looking. I didn’t have enough of the fabric I wanted to make the stars out of so I found this yellow at mom’s. It has a bit of a weird texture to it, it might be kind of old. I hope it doesn’t fall apart! And then I had this border fabric from another project and it sort of worked and then I had this flannel for the backing. I love it as it has canoes and trees on it too. So, it came together but all the pieces were just found and became a part of it.
