Journal Notes

I've always wanted to do a rainbow quilt and, wow, the stash almost had enough to do this project! As I've made my way through Karen's stashbusters my rule has been "buy nothing except batting and backing!" This one required some supplements, though, in the lighter fabric category. I don't lean that direction so I didn't have enough. I was able to scrounge one color from a friend - yay. I've allowed myself to buy binding for these projects, too. When they look so good I don't want to ruin them with the wrong backing or binding! This one has bright blue (marling) minky on the back.
