Journal Notes

Currently hanging at Bellamy Mansion Museum in Wilmington, NC. Took apart a square unfinished table topper to use in QBTS Quilt Guild’s Modern Quilt Challenge. We were required to use three Modern Quilt characteristics. This was an initially made during a workshop with Sheri from Whole Circle Studio. Sheri taught her method of sewing curves. Used the Modern quilt characteristics of minimalism, negative space, and asymmetry.
