Attempting stitch in the ditch. Would NOT recommend! Next attempt I'm going to do wavy lines, I believe. This is a gift for my youngest daughter. The Quilt top was gifted to me by Cheryl Slaughter, who happened to be my home ec teacher back in the day. Sis really loved the color choices and she picked the backing. I wanted to add a personal touch, therefore attempting my first EVER attempt at stitch in the ditch with this monster size piece. Lol. I sewed the first line in white bobbin, but changed to black. Will pull out the white after I completed everything. I kinda regret having two complete opposite color threads, because u can see the black bobbin every once in a while on the top. Im pretty sure its due to me somehow. I think a nice gray on both sides would have been a better choice.
