Journal Notes

I volunteered to head up the Reno Modern Quilters Guild charity quilt project. We are meeting on 3/26 for a sit-and-sew and it was decided to make crumb quilts. I will be cutting the sashing and putting all the blocks together. Others will be doing the long arming and binding. I managed to finish 26 crumb blocks to contribute to the effort. 4/4/26 - watching March Madness and frantically working on finishing the sashing and finishing 3 quilt tops! We got enough blocks for 5 quilts. I was amazed, definitely a lot of scraps out there! I definitely have to have them done by next Saturday which is when I hand the tops off to the longarmer. Plus I have to do my taxes and pack for Europe! A lot to do in the next week!
