Journal Notes

This was a project my mother-in-law Cecile started., and we found after she had passed. She had pieced the plates with men’s handkerchiefs, but they did not lay flat. I believe this was her only attempt at quilting. I switched out some fabrics for more colour and repieced the plates. My sister appliquéd them on as my hands were very bad. I was working sewing ballistic vests at the time.
