Journal Notes

This baby quilt should have been easy but somehow I struggled throughout the process, not because the pattern or design is bad, just cockpit errors 😛. 7 months, miscuts, 3 timeouts, indecision at every juncture, this quilt had it all. In the end I love the results but getting there was an adventure. All the solids came from @thequiltersmercantile and washed beautifully! Quilting is a combination of serpentine stitch on a domestic machine and big stitch hand quilting with 8 weight pearl cotton. The backing is linen/cotton.
