If I can get 9” squares from each FQ, 2-at-a-time HST method will give me 8.5” HSTs and 16” blocks. I might try for a bed size of 96”x 108”. Japanese Chrysanthemum purple is preferred backing but wideback purple millefiori is more economical. 96” x 112” would be 6 blocks (of 4 HSTs) by 7. 42 blocks x 4 = 168 HSTs. Have 20 4-HST blocks made (80 HSTs). Have 40 HSTs made and trimmed, 45 made that need trimming. May try to get a couple more fabrics. Need 1yd binding - 11 strips - purple millefiori? Purple Japanese Chrysanthemum? Black? Fizz pantograph by Longarm League?
