I was moved by the Buddhist monks who walked from Texas to Washington DC this year in a quest for peace. Cherrywood fabrics released a fat quarter bundle in the colors of the monks’ robes and I thought I could use them for my own peace banner. The free motion quilting adds to the movement in the bird. I love my new front door banner.
