Journal Notes

I'm not certain when I started this quilt, but I was learning a new technique. I was working on it at my parents' house and our family friend Sue asked who it was for and I told her it didn't have a destination to go to. She told me that she would take it 🙂. It then spent a lot of time aging while I worked on brighter and more pressing projects. In January of 2026 I decided it was time to get this one done. It is about to come home from the quilter and I will need to bind it and make a trip to Minnesota to deliver it. I ended up mailing the quilt to Sue then meeting Sue and her daughter Sandy on August 17th in Baraboo, WI. Sue loves her quilt which is on her bed. I'm so pleased that she is able to enjoy it.
