An Instagram challenge to make 10 tiny nine patch blocks a week. The pattern calls for 480 blocks, so a year to make them all. Then there are two pieced borders… Finally finished the quilt top, nearly two years after I started! Had to piece the final border as I didn’t have enough of the main neutral fabric - but that seems in keeping. You can see that the edges are very wavy (despite trimming every single one of the tiny nine patch blocks, I didn’t trim the borders - kicking myself) and I think that will come back to bite me when I quilt it. Update: I took off all the borders and reworked them, carefully trimmed. Much happier with the final result!
