Journal Notes

This quilt started as a planned baby gift. The design was chosen because I bought an Accuquilt die cutting machine this year and wanted to play with curved piecing practice. I saw a Drunkard’s Path quilt layout on the MQG website and decided to create that layout with my own scrap fabrics. By the time I started the quilt top, I found out the mom was pregnant with twins. Soon I will be working on DP #2! The quilting is a combination of organic straight line in a V formation with big stitch hand quilting between each machine stitched row. The binding is finish with big stitch on the quilt front.
