This is on the docket to be the next large wool quilt I begin, hoping for late 2025 or early 2026 All wool blocks have been prepped All patchwork blocks have been made Quilt top pieced and all three layers basted. Began big stitch quilting 9/10/26 1.5 yards of backing if 108” 4 yards of backing if 42” (4 yards was too much fabric) Cut backing 57 x 69 .5 yards of binding cut 6 strips Wool appliqué → loose stippling or echo quilting Cotton pieced blocks → diagonal crosshatch Sashing/borders → simple big-stitch lines
