Making this quilt for The Alyssa House; they need more boy quilts. I got this fabric on a trip to Maine from Mardens. It was either $6 or $7 a yard which is about half what it was when the line was released. My first “three yard quilt” but I went off script a little since the main blocks were cut from a panel. The quilt top went together in just two days but I’m still deciding on how to quilt it. I bought Minky backing from Marshall’s Dry Goods so it’s time. I would like to have it done and donated before leaving for QuiltCon on February 18th. Finished February 9, 2026. Practiced all the quilting techniques: stencil, FMQ, rulers and templates, dot to dot. I let myself get frustrated instead of enjoying the process 🤷‍♀️. Used circle template in the border to do half circles and they didn’t line up after turning the corner. I’ll either practice that technique or do something else in the corners next time.
