Had lots of ModaBlock5 5" blocks from last year (2024) so just before our trip to Croatia in September of 2025 I found a bolt of black fabric in my sewing room and put 12 of them inside of Churn Dashes. When we got home, I put them together with sashing and 9 patch cornerstones. I have the binding ready and the batting and batting cut and ready to go when I feel like quilting it. 10.9.25 7.26.26 decided to take the plunge and just get this one quilted. I'm trying a bit of custom quilting and will take this opportunity to try and get comfortable with eyeballing some of the sections. To be honest, I'm not sure I like the design I chose, but I'm sticking with it. 7.31.26 finished the quilting, minus the center blocks. I'm going to go back and do those after I put the binding on. I want to put a bit of a flange on the binding, just to give it a little bit of interest.
