Journal Notes

Rhonda had brought me a quilt that had been gifted to her that needed repair. I started repairing and realized it was beyond saving. I had kept it for so long, I felt bad about not being able to actually repair it for her. She loves quilts and had only had one that was ever actually made for her. At the time, she was very young and did not realize the amount of work that went into it so she sold it in a garage sale. Later, she was extremely regretful of that decision and told me the story. So I made this quilt with a similar design with some vintage fabrics and some new fabrics to replace the irreparable quilt.
