Journal Notes

A friend gave me some old Quilters Newsletter magazines. I found this pattern in the March 1982 issue. My house is Prairie school style and I am drawn to the Arts & Craft styles. We have no stained glass in our home, but I thought this quilt inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright would fit right in. I have not really done Y-seams, so I am a little apprehensive about trying this. It also is written for using templates, and I plan to do as much rotary cutting as possible. I have a long list of projects planned before this one, so not sure when I will get to it. Finished piecing at Luther Point retreat in Wisconsin, in late April 2026. Finished 6/19/2026.
