The Quilt Guild is requesting each chapter to help make 450 soup cozies. Our chapter hopes we can do 30. So on May 2 and part of the 3rd, I started the project by cutting 9 inch square pieces of batting and sewed them on 60 pieces of 10 inch squares. I had cut up a lot of these from Mom’s stash. I’ll see how many the chapter can get done. It’s for an event in November. May 6 the chapter got 20 out of 30 done, and 10 were taken home to finish. Everyone had a great time, decided we can do more at another meeting!
