Journal Notes

The pattern is excellent! Emotionally, the toughest quilt I've ever done - an exercise in extreme sadness alternating with overwhelming anger. I shouldn't have agreed to do it. That said, it took me 2 years to get started on it and push through to finish. During those two years, my creative mojo and desire to quilt was squelched. Now that the top is done and at the quilter's, my quilty joy and creative energy has returned - almost on cue. This was therapeutic on some level, hmmm, and I'm very happy to have conquered it. AGF Pure Solids Lavender Water is a beautiful hue that somehow reads pink and lavender with grey undertones. Great blender when there is a lot going on.
