Journal Notes

Decided to use up some leftover brights and have some fun piecing while I was at it. The original pattern has solid centers in each rectangle, but I pieced something different in half of them. Now, I'm practicing my machine quilting by quilting each rectangle with a different design. 5.15.26 I've been watching Piece N Quilt strip by strip quilting tutorials and am trying out the ones I like on this one. I only have about 17 more to do...have to watch some more videos to see what trips my trigger. 7.8.26 After lots of study and pondering and breaks, I got the quilting done and the binding on. I definitely have some quilting ideas for future projects!
