When the urge to start making a quilt hit me like a lightning bolt this was the result. I sent off for a kit that promised perfection and I just knew that would be me. Well…not! The fabric was so thin I could read through it and it only made 10 eight inch squares. Fast forward many years and I drug it out again and decided to add to it and practice my machine embroidery. Yeah, well, that was fun. I decided my mom definitely needed this one and she was such a good sport about it all, she hid it in the closet. You gotta love your mom.
